Experiential Leadership Event
Effective leadership and communication to all stakeholders is one of the most important factors for successful project delivery. Time and time again projects go wrong because of poor interpersonal relationships and low situational awareness.
In this module we give you the opportunity to practice your leadership and communication skills in an experiential event. Working in small groups you will be presented with a series of challenging situations that you need to prepare for and perform. The events are centred around tricky stakeholder and team situations and cover the entire project lifecycle.
Through this module you will learn - in a very practical sense - how to build trust and gain buy-in from all parties. We will focus on win-win negotiation techniques and how to avoid kickback and dirty politics. You will get the opportunity to practice your negotiation skills and build your interpersonal skills. You will come away with a plan of action to help you with sticky situations on your project. The challenging situations we present you with will be very life like as they are linked to your own project and business environment
